*Tapping Recommendations: Drill Sizes should be 2% - 3% larger than standard in HT, AT, and Hard Alloys. *For Automatic Tapping RMP should be 10x TPI. *Reccomend Taps for Pre-Heat Treated Alloys up to 38 HRc. *All Feeds & Speeds are based on the use of Carbide tooling. *Actual optimum Feed & Speed will vary upon machine rigidity, horsepower, coolant, tool geometry, etc. |
